<div class="IPBDescription">specifically with WMA2 audio</div> I'm not sure why I'm asking you guys this, but no one else I know seems to know what the problem is.

When I download certain videos(and this is just recently for some reason) some of them refuse to play their audio track with Divx player, winamp, and Windows media player. Now i checked under properties and most of the ones with teh problem say the audio that the audio format is "windows media audio v2" but one of them said the audio was mp2.

What's going on, do I need a new media player, an I just stupid, or is this an old question that I havn't heard the answer to yet?

The audio stream has nothing to do with the video stream.

What you need to do is download and install the appropriate audio codec.

You might want to try one of these codec packs:

Recommend Nimo's codec pack. Just install most everything from there. There is a thread about what specific ones to install from the codec pack somewhere on moviecodec.com, but I forget where, fly there if you're interested..
