The easiest program is the one you get used to.

    You can use QuArK also.

I use (and prefer) VHE. But that's your choice.

kewl thx ill try that. If only 2days map programs could m=be as simple as duke nukem 3d's one.

Yeah... but you see... DN3D's map editor only mapped in two dimenstions, as DN3D was build around a raycaster - not true 3D.

Alas, mapping for a true 3D engine could never be so simple...

if you think hammer/worldcraft is complex you should try radiant....

you'll get used to it... it just takes time...

Wasn't DN3D actually in 3D....don't look at me stupid - I'm referring to the way Rise of The Triad and so on were in 3d...

Rise of the Triad weren't 3D either. It was all a big 2.5D hoax made possible by the Build engine, used for Duke Nukem, Redneck Rampage I think, Rise of the Triad, and that one ninja-game I forget the name of.. Shadow Warrior I think. Great fun and all, but not actual 3D

personally quark is harder than radiant. i can actually make and texture brushes in radiant. just not well:X Stick to VHE, then move on to Radiant if you like a more "accurate" in editor camera view.
