<div class="IPBDescription">Pic inside</div>Well I figured I might try to draw something up, being inspired by cory's work, it's been over 3 years since I drew something (didn't have artclass, no wooden benches,I pay attention at university <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->, etc. )I was feeling a bit rusty and the pic didn't come out all the way I wanted, this is my first "realistic" drawing, I used to draw cartoons and you don't have to pay attention to proportions etc. that much, anyway tell me what you think, and thx Fam for the logo <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->.The marine's left leg is in a wierd position cuz I planned on letting it rest on a dead bob, but I didn't have the space needed on my paper, and my photospaint skillz wouldn't allow me to add the bob :/
I made this in prox 2 hours including touching up in photoshop (the pic could use it very bad), sorry for the bad scan.

hate to be mean, but must be honest. He looks like he's crying (facial expression) and he looks like he has droopy, man-breasts..

Other than that, it's okay.

Good job.  I like his pose.  Maybe try adding a background now, like some nasty aliens ready to pounce on him from behind?

The way the visor is curving is making him look sad.  If you flipped it the other way it will look better.  Like this:

I'll make the armor less curvy so it looks less that the marine has breasts, and thx for the tip cory, I didn't think he looked sad, well I'll change it next time <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

He looks like one mean d00d, Interfector, nice work.  I think you should redraw him, and this time add the dead bob <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->.  Then maybe you could go over it in Photoshop, make it look real sexy, and hey, new rr.org logo <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->.  It could happen....

A few head-body proportions to keep in mind:
The hand is appx. one headlength
The upper and lower arm are each one headlength
The foot is one headlength
The upper and lower leg are each appx. the length from the elbow to fingertips
I think the upper body is also from elbow to fingertips. I just know that in the first pic, his shoulders and neck are way too broad.

Maybe it's just the fact that it's 2:30 in the morning, but it looks like he's weak in the knees. Must've had a problem with the dropship toilet...
