* Don't post massive bitmaps. Use freeware like <a href='http://www.irfanview.com' target='_blank'>Irfanview</a> to convert your screenshots to jpg. 30 quality is usually good enough for web posting.
* Use a better host. <a href='http://www.netfirms.com' target='_blank'>NetFirms</a> is fast, free, and allows direct linking. Please, don't use GeoCities/Angelfire/Tripod/any other host that has linking restrictions. Also, check with your ISP; most offer you some homepage space.
* If your image is bigger than 640 wide or 480 high, post a link to it. ( [ URL ] tag instead of [ IMG ] tag.) This kills people on dialup, and means that most people have to scroll horizontally to read the text in the thread.
