Problem With Balancing

NS is unlike most fps's, thathave 2 sides, very / if not exactly equal in stats/tactics.
When in comes to NS, 2 completely different sides, you can balance it for the average server, but:
You have servers with the following categories:
Poorer quality servers
aliens win most of time, marines have a hard time organising, commander usually isn't someone experienced (on teamworkless servers, commanding is crap)
Medium quality servers
Depends, solely on the commander and gorg. If they both are average, often enough aliens will win, unless the aliens were slow and shite, same for commander of the marines.
Experienced quality servers
servers with 'clever' players (goto gaming.blueyonder.co.uk for these), marines ALWAYS win if you the teams are fair. (occasionally, the comm is a bit slow and the aliens have a top side resulting in an alien win)
most of you haven't played the game enough to see this, so you can't comment
Before any of you go on at me, saying "this is bs - n00b"
I'm the commander and tactician of the #2 clan in clanbase yet to lose a PCW or CW.
I'm so utterly sure a fair marine vs. alien would end in a marine victory (in 1.03 ;p), i'd put any amount of money on it

we balance the game for the less equipt people - or just expect everyone to find "good servers" and play the way you do?
now people complains aliens are too weak
and people are complaining that marines have too much teamwork or stuff....
Face it, the more the people play, the more experienced they are and they'll know more in-depth counter tactics to use.
Right now, I think it's all fair because the state right now is that team needs teamwork to archieve victory, not just brute force. Now people really need to thinka bout teamwork, which, i think is what the devs have in mind when they made the game, so it should be all settled.

Marine v Marine.
Or marine v alien, allow a "handicap" for the marine side say
1=phases are a research on the observatory (20 credits)
2=phases cost +5
4=marines take 10%+ longer to spawn
8=marines take 10%+ longer to spawn
16=hmg cost +5
32=hmg cost +5
64=motion tracking refresh time is %200 normal (takes longer for circles to update)
128=sieges +50% build time
256=sieges +10 cost
add the value together, and it goes a variable that can be changed via rcon.
it'll allow players to balance it themselves it could even get to the stage, playing clan v clan, one side chooses say, 3 disadvantages from the default for the enemy team to suffer with, tactics get VERY interesting indeed
OMG balance the game ffs christ it's so unfair for aliens, Marines,spectators,the mailman, local goverment and the football team
quite frankly, NS has a long learning curve and isn't really friendly to newbies (especially newbie commander and gorges) so these balance issues are really just needed in newbie servers for training purposes.
And I must say I could care less for these newbies. I was once a newbie but that was when the game was just released, and let me say, boy am I glad I was new before the game gets older . If newbies get experienced they'll then realize the game is much favoured on the side which has more teamworks.
Teamwork > everything.
