First off:
This thread is about game balance, not morals, philosophy, nor whether or not you approve of the modification. This thread is not to become a flaming discussion about Voogru's server.
As I understand it, Voogru first implemented the health dispensing armory first then followed up by allowing the aliens to share resources (Note, I am ignoring the night vision goggles because the majority of players on that server do not use it).
What I would like to know is prior to health dispensing armory, what was the game balance like?
1. What were the wins for both marines and aliens?
2. Which team did people tend to want to join?
3. What was the typical duration of the games?
Now when the health dispensing armory was implemented, what were the effects on those 3 questions?
Add the ability of the aliens the share resources, what were the effects on those 3 questions?
Sorry if I'm asking a lot, but with Voogru's server being so damn popular and full, you got to ask the question of why?
