What's up with that? Two days ago, 75% of those servers would have had 6-8 green bars, now all of a sudden they're nearly all in the red. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> Did the man finally pull the plug on the HL community?

Won has nothing to do with bandwidth to a server. All those red dots mean that YOUR connection to those servers are not that great.

thats got nothing to do with anything but your internet connection, more than likely...

the WON servers won't effect pings

Great. So my ISP is just degrading thier service now. Wonderful.

I'm noticing I have to power-cycle my modem more and more often these days, too. Should I be worried?

Make sure you have the proper settings in place. If you are using the built in browser in the client to look for NS servers set the bandwith setting to 128K ISDN.

Once you are in game open your console and type the following:

    cl_cmdrate 30
    cl_updaterate 30

That's what I use and it works great for me.
