If there's grating through which you can look and there's something on top of it. A skulk can wallwalk against the bottom and eat everything on top without a problem. There some places where commanders always place turret factories and turrets on top of these grates and it's funny eating them each time without a problem.

    Yeah, I did this in the vent hive (Name escapse me... marines have a door that leads to maitnence shaft thing)

    Likewise, In the Satcom hive on tanith, I've been shot through the grating as a lerk.

    Guess it works both ways.
