<div class="IPBDescription">how to slow it down</div> I'm sure to many this is obvious, but I figured I would post anyways. When I'm gorging and I hear marines building up near a hive, I start laying O and D chambers around the hive area right away...

What I do, is try to build a whole bunch around the wall that the siege is near. That way, when the siege activates, it will have to kill the O and D chambers first, before starting on the hive. This can give your team valuable seconds to attack the siege and take it out.

EDIT: A little clarification

Put the O and D chambers far apart from each other, so that they don't all get sieged by the same shots (one shot hitting many).

Just a suggestion <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    wouldn't it be cheaper to build sensory chambers?

    aren't they all 14 RP's each? but everyone usually does sensory last and depends on how many hives you have

    If the marines have rushed to first hive your team has, they're still light marines and what you could do is, build O towers as near them as possible so that they can fire and avoid getting shot at (healing spray) build as many O towers you can.

    Once their online..well you know what happens <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->. Then yell for skulk support.

    Hmm... you buy about 20 seconds per OC, if you can manage to place them outside of each others splash radius. DC's have less hits (800 vs 1200?).

    As long as you do this WHEN you hear them building, it is ok. If you do it BEFORE they are building, you are doing it WRONG WRONG WRONG - those chambers should be OUTSIDE the hive, forcing them to siege them once before even getting close to the hive.

    I hate seeing noob gorges building massive wall-of-lames inside the hive while leaving the marines a straight, unobstructed path from their spawn/phase gates right into siege distance of the hive.
