<b>ARGH - hive to hive distances are really unballanced. </b> Hive to CC is allright but the lower left hive is way TOO close to the lower right and too far away from the upper left.
This (lower left) hive needs to be placed in the "cutted off" room left of the maintenance hangar AND the vent directly to the lower right Hive is a too powerfull shortcut at the moment. Maybe just make the vent exit in the lower right corner of the room.

I'm not working towards actually making the map myself. But It's fun doing some details. Here is a non-playable version of the hanger. That said, you do start in a ready room and can go aliens/marines to look round. But it's just a tour.
r_speeds go a little over 700 in some places and the room is lacking in detail..definately run into a problem there. There is a horrible green wall closing off the hanger from 'space' I'm trying to make this into a vaguely decent force-field but haven't mastered all this entities stuff yet.
Please note: the hanger will NOT have a hive in it in the actual map, nor will it have any res point other than that at the end between the huge doors. The marine/alien basic entities are just there for the sake of demonstration.

Nice. when you make "exploded entrances" be sure that you can easyly pass them. Commander can build nowere. areas outside the map are marked as "green buildable"
okm, I cancel making your map for praactice and doing own stuff now...
