Contact was lost with the ground station outpost Solaria on planet ethon one week ago. Suspicions lead us to believe it is the Kharaa. A shipment from the Bast was sent out one day before it was infested with the Kharaa, and Solaria recieved the shipment. There are currently five possible hive points, one in the lounge, one in shield generator A, one in the main computer lab, one in the Security Systems, and one in Hanger C. Satillite Pictures have shown that Hanger B is destroyed from the fighting it seems, and that many parts of the base are now pitch black. The emergency lights are accessible, and will be up within the hour. You and your fellow men will be entering via Hanger A, or the airlock in the storage room, whichever is accesible. We will have full layout of the base for you within the week. Further information will come when availible. Good luck.

Forgive me for taking this blurb literally, but... it's possible to include 5 hive locations and 2 marine starts?

With the handy use of Random Entities....Only 3 hives, and 1 ms will work at a time.

Well, with careful design and node placement, areas don't NEED to be unused... I'll be looking forewards to seeing your layout.

I'd be concerned about how much detail you're going to have to cut back in order to be able to fit all those extra - and ultimately unused - areas into the map...

I'm still interested...... Bad R-Speeds don't always bother me, and thois sounds like an original idea.

Spent 2 hours last night...All in all, I couldn't get Hives to be random...I got them to show up, but ones could still be built at the others, and those were invisible once built. Apparently this game doesn't want that in it, oh well. Read post below for updates:

Update on the conditions of the United States Ground Station Outpost Solaria:

The hives have been pinpointed to the Shield Generator, Hanger C, and in a previously unknown underground area, accessible through the Main Computer systems. There is massive aline growth still in the Lounge, and the Security area. Soldiers will enter through Hanger A, as the previously stated area is overly infested, and possible unstable. All lights are functionting fine around Hanger A, but the heavy growth has made most of the base darker. The commander post will be in the Hanger for accessibility. The hallways around the barracks have barracades, left over from the human last stand. We are still getting full layout of the accessible areas, This will be here soon enough. Over and out.
