Origin of the name?
I was just wondering where the team got the name for the 'Onos' (If you can not remember what it looks like the picture is ----> ) I was bored and watched Alien Nation last night and came across an alien race called 'Eenos'. Is this just coincedence? Or just Onos based around that sort of name ?

[edit] The link to the origins of the names is usually in brackets, and looks like [name]. It's placed after the 1-paragraph "summary" near the top of each species page.[/edit]
It's in the manual.

lol
While he and Jeff maintain that the name didn't rely on any "inspirational" material, I'm willing to bet that the name of Kronos/Cronos, the father of Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades in Greek mythology, had at least a subconscious influence.
like sheep/sheep.
I thought for a while it would be "Oni," but that only happens with the -us ending.
