Ns Balancing

I'm pretty sure nothing is wrong...
I've got a bit of a dilemma. I understand I'll probably get flamed for this, because after all this is a 'Suggestions and Ideas' forum, but after playing for about 2 weeks now as both sides, I don't think the gameplay needs to be balanced any more.
Ok, maybe a couple of bugs need to be ironed out (namely the notorious 'being stuck in things' bug), but I think that any complaints about the gameplay I've seen so far have been a bit biased. Maybe I haven't played the game enough to notice what is actually wrong, but everything seems to work together so well. For example, Siege Cannons may be very good (admittedly the range issues should be fixed), but the alien side probably deserves to be blown up if they have actually allowed the marines to get close to their hive, build and upgrade a TF and then build a Siege. And while their doing this, there's always the chance that they have left the rest of the map weak and undefended.
There are other issues (or non-issues?) like this that I can't think of right now, but I'll mention them when I read a post about them. I can see why people have a problem with all these different things and yes, I rip my hair out when I step in a web, but it's my fault in the end, and it's a gorge's only really defence.
Anyway back to my dilemma. If there are no real changes that need to be made, where is NS going to be taken? More maps? I'd love to see more weapons and alien species, but this could completely change the game, which I would hate to happen. So, where is NS going to go when all the bugs are gone?

We'll be seeing them in future client-side patches
The next versions won't so much concentrate on 'enhacing' AvM (although this will doubtlessly happen to some extent, too), but to introduce both MvM and AvA. Of course, you'll see more conventional maps and all, but Flayra isn't going to limit himself to fiddling with a game that's essentially done.
I'm moving this to General.
If it turns out as good as v1 has turned out, then it will be amazing. Can anyone remember any first release of any mod at all that was as refined and great in every way as NS?
