[map Idea] Abandoned Third Species Base

In star-craft there were three species, and in NS we have two. This got me thinking that we could have a level which is actually an abandoned base or colony of another species and the marines and aliens are battling it out to take control of the base. The species would have been far more advanced than either the aliens or the humans, explaining why neither species actually makes use of the technology in the abandoned settlement.
This would allow for decor that is neither human nor alien, and allow us to think of a design that would be alien to both teams.
BTW this idea is for the taking. I don't have the skill for making maps.
