<div class="IPBDescription">soon to be PT'ed</div> i've just finished the low entity version of this map (no particle systems) and it will be tested shortly. background: basically, it's set inside an abandoned mountain fortress that is overrun by the kharra. first 4 pics are from the RR, the rest are from the actual level. (i used Fam's art to make some of the join team signs).

    I'm a little disapointed the blue signs weren't additive, but that's overwhelmed by the architecture.

    I do just hope that the aliens wont have a disadvantage due to the brightness and lack of hiding places and vents.

    we just PT'ed it and seems most things are ok, but i might have to make it a little smaller.... it's about caged's size. server performance was good as well.

    as for the signs, they are additive, but they need a dark background, otherwise they are uber bright with the NS's gamma ramp.

    Tommy asked me to put my crits on the gameplay of the map here. I know you have this covered, tommy, but the vent system was too small. If they attacked hovertank hive and we were at network - aliens = screwed. You said you already know about that - but just wanted to post it in the forums.

    Also - the War Room ( <a href='http://www.personal.psu.edu/users/t/j/tjd159/ns_strife_b1d0017.jpg' target='_blank'>http://www.personal.psu.edu/users/t/j/tjd1...ife_b1d0017.jpg</a> ) is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool!!!!!! That laser is by far the most insane thing. Yes - it will burn your retina! Overall stirfe played very well, as stated before is a fair size. Once the vents are in it would be a real blast to have another go at it!

    Well, done...there are a few 'nit-picky' things that could be improved...but if I didn't know better, I'd say that it was an official map! Please keep up the good work.     Really really impressive tommyd... You've got the imposing architecture and the very personal tight corridors too... I love it... Those early shots remind me of some levels in Jedi Outcast - I'm not saying you copied or anything (they probably look nothing alike) but just the general feel is so professional that it's astounding .... I'm looking for more compliments for you cause the pics certainly show a great deal of work and artistic ability.... anyways - NICE WORK....

    I'm very impressed Tommy, thats some good work. I searched and searched for any kind of constructive criticism and all I could come up with is that in shot (http://www.personal.psu.edu/users/t/j/tjd159/ns_strife_b1d0018.jpg) the corridor seems abit repetitive.

    Excellent, very origional. Nothing like it in NS yet. Can't wait to see how it plays.

    The servers at www.joe.to are playing custom maps. Maybe you should try to contact Joe and see if he will server it?

    thanks for the comments. i'm working on the vent system right now and i still need weldables/particle systems.
