disable 2-3 marines without even moving
This is one of my favorite tactics, particularily when I'm having a smoke or dont feel like hunting.
First off though, this tactic takes patience, and most of all, it requires a few stubborn marines. Most Pro players wont succumb to this but even the most experienced can often fall prey. This tactic will also not work once the marines get jetpacks or grenades, as then your vent will not be safe.
Step One:
Find a vent or hidden spot near some marines. Preferably, this is one of the many vent located near either A) the marines base B) A hive controlled by marines. For this example, I will use the vent located near the rear of the marines base in that map with Sewer Hive (I can't remember the exact name)
Step Two:
Lerk is the preferred alien for this, but a skulk will work just as well. A lerk is excellent though, because you can harass/kill marines with the lerks distance weapon.
Step Three:
Get in the vent and start harassing marines. Get the marines attention. This can be acheived by shooting them with your distance weapon, chuckling, or making alien sounds (the other comm commands) constantly.
Step Four:
Not really a step, but eventually you'll get some marines clustered around your vent. Most marines will assume if they stand around long enough, you will make a mistake and they will kill you. The marines often wont leave as they fear you will destroy the buildings near your vent. Give them a little encouragement by bobbing your head outta vent once in a while.
Step Five:
Eventually, the marines might think they are too clever for you and start stacking in order to reach the vent you are in. You can identify this behaivour by the many jumping sounds. When the first marine pops his head in the vent, bite his face off.
Final Words
With this tactic, I have effectively rendered 2, 3, or even 4 marines at a time useless to their team. The best part is, if the marines finally leave, simply pop out of the vent and start blasting their turrets or structures, and you'll have 3 marines back in your clutches again.
Also, commanders really hate this. I have seen commanders yell at marines to get out of the spawn area many times because of this and then call them right back in when I start blasting the base to pieces.
Put quite simply, this makes a marine team less effective during the crucial early game, which allows the kharaa to have a good advantage in the later game.
If any of you have any other "social tricks" post em here.

and a skulk is better than a lerk sometimes.
once i've parasited 3/4 of the marine team
LAMO!
Smart marine takes out his pistol and nails you to the wall before the ping catches up, giving you NO time to react. -1 alien.
The most fun thing to do is parasite all the Marines when there lined up at the ammo station, then they will stand under the vent and wait for a minut or so, then go back and continue getting ammo. A skilled skulk can keep almost all of there team parastied all the time, which effectivly gives aliens motion traking.
