In the recent past we've seen a lot of developers release remakes of their old titles, mostly with great success. I think NS1 would be a perfect candidate for a remake too.
The games concept is still brilliant, put in a new engine with updated graphics would attract old fans as well as new players.
Imo, NS2 couldnt hold up with NS1 because it focussed too much on graphics and athmosphere at the cost of (smooth) gameplay.
Maybe UWE is able to recreate the old fast paced RTS-like shooter experience NS1 offered.
Just wanted to drop this idea. Would love to see it
