Defensive Lerk Strategy

A lot of people here seem to think the lerk is best for geurilla tactics and as a support role, well, i'd like to share my experiences as a defensive lerk.
It was the usual scenario, we had just got our second hive up and the marines had fortified our other hive. Our gorges weren't very bright, and just built a few OCs by our newly created hive, and the marines were moving into siege it. There wasn't any defensive chambers, so I knew those OCs wouldn't last. An idea popped into my head tho, "Does umbra work with buildings?". 2 HA/HMG marines converged on 2 OCs I was sitting next to, they started firing and i umbra'd, To my suprise the buildings held their own, the HMG marines kept shooting and shooting, slowly taking damage from my spikes and the OCs, one of them didn't want to give up, and held his ground, he died after about 30 seconds of it. The other saw his buddy die and started running away, in typical lerk fashion i chased him down and spiked him to death, 2 HA/HMG marines downed by a little lerk. This strategy works suprisingly well, another way to do it is to lure them to the OCs, HA/HMG marines underestimate lerks and think of them as easy kills if there aren't other aliens around, they will eventually try to knife you if you use umbra, and they will if you dont have any OCs around.
One other thing i'd like to add. Chamber build order, i can't stress this enough, Defensive, then movement, then sensory. I don't care how fun it is if you can cloak, but movement is essential to launch a decent offensive. You can get away with sensory if you're agianst a newbie team, but agianst a decent team you really need movement. The ability to spam umbra is much greater than the ability to cloak. (also, if your agianst a decent marine team, by the time you've secured your second hive and ready to put up your second chamber, the marines have secured your other hive, so you really need the ability to launch a decent offensive.)
