Please keep in mind, these are realy crappy, and basically big time alpha versions...
I'm trying to get back into the mapping groove, but its been almost two years since I opened WorldCraft, so...heh, I've got a long way to go

Marins spawn(Landing Bay, or sumthin)

you DID ask for it, The brush work is boring, the lighting just doesn't do it, its actualy not HORRIBLE but it just lacks feeling, the places are just too empty, the textureing is pretty good in what i can see and I just don't feel it to be complete... damn I tried there wasn't much that i could RIp at.

Hrm... yeah, it seems kinda plain... but I see you know how to map. You just need to wake up your skillz. Get some inspiration. Do something crazy.

Looks good 'so far'. At least it looks like an NS map

Like BiTMAP (who seems to have awfully high standards, eh? ) I don't have much to say...

I love the underground work, if you had some good background ambient music and some water drops and whatnot, whoa. And maybe some drooping cables and maybe just a few points of colored (preferably red) lighting, thats what I would do anyways.

Thanks for da feedback. Yeah, I know its boring....*sighs* But at the moment I'm realy struggling for inspiration....Argh! **obscenity**! *(#&@! Heh. Don't forget, these are the first thing I've made in about two years...so yeah, its going to suck. Oh, thanks humbled! Yeah, the underground stuff is the only thing realy redeeming about any of those shots...although, I do like the big door in the first shot.
Anyways, I've got some crazy ideas, but little vision to put a "face" with them...oh well...

First shot - Could generally use some more shadows and contrast in the lighting. Also the floor looks a little plain, and the green teck grate texture on the floor doesn't merge too well with the rest of the floor. Also, it wouldn't hurt to make those windows a little more transparent, as they look weird and yellow right now.

Second shot - The pic is a little blurry, I can't really see much. But it looks like it could be pretty cool and atmospheric. I reccomend some color and contrast in there - not necessarily a big colored light, but maybe some red or orange accents in the corners or behind supports.

Third shot - Probably my favorite pic. The only complaint I have is that the walls seem a little too vertical - try making the top part above the pipes inset slanted outwards to add a little interest to the area. Or try adding some supports to break things up.

Ok, shoot me, but I like the first and the third. The marine spawn is probably fine how it is, possibly some minor touchups and making the lights more vibrant. Second pic is too dark for me. Third looks great, but I would continue the blue lighting into that room at the end.
