Here's a fun little bug for you. It takes a few steps, but can be replicated easily.

First, pilot your Sea Truck with at least one attachable module up to the surface of the water so that the top of the truck breaches the surface.

Second, exit your Sea Truck; you should be able to stand on the top. While doing so, disconnect and pilot your module, making sure to stay above the surface.

Third, swim your module forward to reattach it to the drive section of your Sea Truck. If done correctly, you should fall through the roof of your truck. Since you did not enter the truck through one of the doors you are not technically seen as being inside it, but since you are below the surface of the water you are now swimming.

Have fun swimming around the cabin of your Sea Truck! At any time you can interact with the ladder or back door to re-enter the truck properly.

As a bonus, I noticed while piloting my module stack above water that you can tilt up while moving upwards to elevate yourself a fair distance out of the water (likely limited by how many modules you have). If you jump immediately after releasing the module, you can use this to boost yourself up to otherwise unreachable areas.
