Whole machine crashes within the first few minutes of starting ns2.

    game crashes my whole machine after starting the game. been life this for a few years and i would give up playing when wanting to return to the game.

    I turned on the texture memory limit, and after that it hasn't happened again. No idea whether that was the underlying cause or not.
