i really am not much of an artist, so i spit it out. I have a new avatar, it really is nice, it are two 'kodamas' (forest spirits) from the (best) anime movie princess mononoke. I hosted it on geocities, and (on my computer) it works fine in the forums. But since the avatar is automatically resized, it looks a bit crappy. Is there any way to make the .gif smaller myself? if i do it in paint the movie does not move anymore after i save it..

    First step is to find a new host, because the rest of us get a red x in a box. [edit] That's not an image hosted on geocities... and that looks fine[/edit]  Second step, well, I don't know.  If you have photoshop, you could do it pretty easy.  Otherwise, I don't know.

    er, to answer your question I can see it fine ... however you might want to find a better picture (and not leeching it off someone elses bandwidth ... <!--emo&:0--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'><!--endemo--> ).  That one looks a bit odd...

    You need to take out the individual frames of the animation, resize each one, tidy it up then put the re-sized frames back together as an animation.

    I'll have a go tonight if I have time.

    if youd like.. Dont do it if there is too much trouble.. also, i dont have paintshoppro, but i can 'acquire it'... although i dont like 'acquiring' software i can use it for my little friends...
