Distance for habitat builder tool

Please add a distance button to allow buildings to be placed further away from you so you're not burning your face off when you go and place a thermal reactor in a lava trough or something... Not sure if this already exists in the PC version of the game. I'm using Xbox.
If you want an example of this working. Various other games have this type of feature. Just need to be able to push buildings away from you or bring to you before you place the blueprint.
