Save game files not loading after save bug

Waited 30 minutes for the game to save. Finally had to reset because it doesnt load anything in the game during saves. Now that map wont load.

But I did discover that a new map may have resolved the save game issue. I decided to start my hardcore journey and I have not had any trouble. The game saves just fine. It seems to happen with older version game files.
I am not going to test it out on my other saved games, but I am hoping this info helps.
