<div class="IPBDescription">...servers?</div> During the board's downtime, I happened to join a game with a couple of buddies, the ebb and flow of players put all of us on the Kharaa side, good that we all made it on the same team. It didn't take long, though, to notice that things were way off in that game. The marines were toting nigh-instakill weapons, we're talking 'fully carapaced Onos dies in under three seconds' here. Surprisingly, despite those obnoxious guns, we still managed a victory thanks to the marines showing not one ounce of teamwork. The next map rolls around, and my friends left to find a new server, but I stuck around for the Skulk rush. Four of us gathered around the entry hall (this was on Caged), worked out a 'everyone go in at once and spread out' plan, rushed into the room, and all dropped within a second to some LMG fire.

The only thing I could find in the server variables was that it's running Clanmod 1.80.19 Beta, I don't know if it was that or something else that let everything be put so out of whack. But keep your eyes open, you can never tell if the server you just joined has been 'improved' by its owner like that one had.

I've played on a server that... well it felt like it... Made Slulks more resistant to fire and Fades a little weaker...


Is this possible?, Developer comment please?

Hmm, I got done of playing from a series of Ns games. And I belive I have found one cheater, this is what he was doing.

He was either a skulk or a lerk, didn't become a fade. But when he used his attacks they were INCREDIBLY FAST. I mean too fast, not a bite a second, but like 3-4 bites a second. I was wearing max full HA and he took me down in 3 seconds or less and I have a feeling that isn't right with 100hp and 250 or whatever the max AP is for a HA marine. Even as a Lerk with spikes they fired unbelievable fast. Every time he got a kill he would laugh too. I forgot his name [xxx]mr.somethingxxxx or whatever (x's being unknown letters)

I compared it to other skulks and theirs where a *bite*1.bite.1..bite..1

this guy was like bitebitebitebite 1...bitebitebitebite..1..bitebitebitebitebite
It was very annoying. I've seen a couple of players actually <i>speedhack</i> in the ready room, and get to one team immediately.

Why was that necessary?

I think you can just hit teamone or teamtwo in the console to join a team (for marines or aliens, respectively), if you're really biased.
