I've done everything I know to do and everything I've read here, at adminmod.org and any other forum I can come up with. I've triple-checked plugins.ini, metamod.ini, liblist.gam. I've recompiled all dlls. I've installed different versions of metamod. Different versions of AdminMod. NOTHING WORKS! Anyone out there actually have a solution? Post anything you've gotten to work here or, better yet, AIM me at SpiffyJrUMR.

I've had this problem before (sevaral times) when I ran my Counter-Strike server. The problem was I could start and run the server, change maps from console, do a "stat" with no problems. As soon as I would connect my client to the server it would crash and restart the server. By going into the liblist.gam file and uncommenting the game .so and commenting out the metamod.so I could restart the server and join fine, but admin mod would be disabled.

I tried EVERYTHING to get my CS server back up and running with adminmod but nothing would seem to work.

The way I fixed mine, and your not going to like this, is to re-install the HLDS server from scratch.

Basically I saved all my cfg, txt, ini, amx and logs to a separate directory and WIPED everying. Then, starting with the HLDS dedicated server files, began recreating my server as if I had never had one installed before.

1. HLDS_L server files
2. HLDS_L server patches
3. AdminMod installation
4. restore all the cfg, ini, txt and logs back in their proper places.

Then restart the server and voila! fixed. I still have no idea what causes this problem, but at least I know how to fix it. If someone else out there knows the answer you can point at me, laugh and say what a fool I've been but you better tell me how to fix it if it does this again

Actually I did fix it. I did uninstall everything but I also recompiled amx_admin.so and admin_MM_i386.so (think that's what it was). After that, voila! Presto perfectro running beast machine
