Bare in mind it's not really to any kind of scale and that it doesn't show height changes etc, it's just a basic layout to follow.

<li>The vent that goes across the marine spawn, I doubt will allow entry into the base, because aliens can get into it from many places.
<li>Most vents will be weldable
<li>The 'circles' that the vents go into will be caves and not man-made
<li>The broken path from marine start to the right hive is exactly that, blocked off. Marines and aliens cannot travel past the rubble.

Anyway, I think it's pretty good. The one thing that worries me a bit is that the double node is almost certainly gonna be taken by the marines unless the aliens spawn in the far right hive. I'd like to see the double node be placed in a location that both aliens and marines have equal chance of fortifying, but I don't really know how you'd do that in a layout like this. It'll be nice to see some change from the "diamond" pattern of NS maps, and it doesn't really look like any of the hives are really cut off from the others by the marine start, which is good.

As for the double node, I'll probably add another vent from the central vent system.
