My thoughts after first completion

So the game is amazing no doubt about that. I was hooked and couldn't stop playing. I've always enjoyed creating things and just about everything in this game is a project. I have a few things I'd like to share my opinion on though.
1. I dislike the assign quick slot feature. I'd rather be able to swap out the tool I want to instead of auto assigning it to slot 1 and pushing out whatever was in slot 5. Too many times I wanted to put my repair tool into slot 3 to replace the habitat builder I wasn't using at the time but instead pushed my Seaglide out of slot 5. Now I must assign my Seaglide to slot 1 but now I've lost my knife and I still have the habitat builder. So re-equip the knife and I'm ready to go just to then have to repeat the whole process when I need the habitat builder again. This was a very frustrating and unnecessary long winded way to do this for me and would like to see this improved.
2. Warning spoilers. At the end of the game is when you get the blueprints for ion batteries and find the unlimited ion cube supply. This is cool but.....it's the end. You don't need them at this point because you already have/done everything except make the enzyme so it feels pointless to me. It seems that it was placed there for players that want to base build indefinitely after meeting the mother character and not build the rocket to finish the game but those players would surely just go on create mode to do this anyway.
3. This isn't a complaint, just pointing it out for game development. I know the frame rate/loading times for walls, ground etc are still being optimised but for me the area around the Degasi base with the alien containment tank and the main Precursor base at 1400m were the worst affected areas for lag, loading times and falling through/getting stuck in floors. The other areas were not to bad and seem to be coming along nicely. I noticed that the more vehicles and bases you build the worst lag becomes. I would expect the boot-up loading time to take longer the more stuff you have that needs loading but it shouldn't really create lag if it's 2000m away off screen. Also when I drop items anywhere in the map they fall through the floor and are lost. This didn't happen at the beginning of the game. Items would land on the floor which means lag gets progressively worst the more you play/build till endgame.
4. The game being too easy with Leviathans giving up after just one attack etc has been discussed on this forum many times so I won't go into details on the issue. I will however point out that piloting the PRAWN Suit is basically God mode though. You can't lose.
Final word, great work so far devs. Keep it up. The game overall is fantastic. Looking forward to final release.

2. Well, before making the enzyme, I just expand on my bases and create new ones, and just explore the world. Have you found the dunes crater yet? How about the void? The Tree Cove? Every alien arch? Have you scanned everything and unlocked every PDA? Exploring is one of my favorite things to do.
3. I've never had a problem with any underwater base or vehicle. The only real problem are large seabases and the mountain island. Also, for some reason, the bases can be seen from like 3000M away, even with terrain in the way.
Also, try clearing your batch files. It REALLY helps stop lag and fixes almost every bug with items on the ground.
4. For some reason the Sea Dragon usually doesn't damage the cyclops or Prawn Suit.
Most leviathans and large hostile fauna WILL target the cyclops.
Bonesharks, stalkers, and ampeels target the Prawn Suit. I've been destroyed MANY times by bonesharks in the Crag Field (Boneshark city)
3/6 of the leviathans (Reaper, Sea Dragon and Ghost),as well as crabsquids and Ampeels can and will attack the cyclops. thank God bonesharks, river prowlers and lava lizards no longer attack it. Stalkers will attack the cyclops too, but do no damage. As for me, the leviathans often attack me multiple times before leaving me alone.
