Hello All
I am experiencing a crash in the mushroom forest, when heading from the escape pod towards the aurora's nose. the first lobe of the forest is fine, but when I approach the next area in the game crashes.
happens regardless of if I'm swimming or in a vehicle.

There are a lot of models in that biome, and my old pc lagged like hell there.
Seems that the Mushroom forest is too RAM intensive
I have never experienced issues in the Mushroom Forests. As a test I decided to explore the Northwest Mushroom Forest and the Northeast Mushroom Forest on my Seaglide and take notes of what I felt.

* Video is just of the Northeast Mushroom Forest since my experience was the same in both forests.
Game settings all set to highest where only changes made were to enable V-SYNC, disable Depth of Field and changed FXAA to TAA. I tried color grade as Off in one forest and Filmic in the other.
System specs are; i7-6850K, 64 GB RAM, GeForce 1070.
*Edit: Thought I would mention that when I have the Windows 10 Netflix app open and a TV series switches from the end of an episode to the beginning of the next episode that it will cause Subnautica to hitch for about 1 or 2 seconds, otherwise I can watch Netflix and play simultaneously. I've also experienced this although to a lesser degree while watching videos on YouTube and Twitch and playing Subnautica at the same time. Thought may be worth a try to close any apps that use your video card if you have them open.
