Cuddlefish Cuddles!

I just had this thought. We can't 'hold' the cuddlefish in our hotbar slot right now like we can prey fish and such. The Hoverfish has such an adorable animation when held this way.

Which is really a missed opportunity - imagine if you were holding your bouncing baby Cuddlefish like a real toddler. It'd hang onto you with one long tentacle, and then look around in amazement, maybe one of its idle animations could even be him looking excitedly at something and pointing with his other tentacle like 'cuddady cuddady what's that??'

I would 12/10 this game if that happened. T_T I want a cuddlefish that I can really cuddle. And we could finally take him into SPAAAAACE with us!

Make it happen UWE, please. For the love of proud Cuddlefishe parents everywhere!

    Well at one point it gives you a hug but only once. After you build the Neptune rocket you get the option to say goodbye to your Cuddlefish. During this process you are what seems to be letting the Cuddlefish know you are leaving. In return the Cuddlefish wraps its tentacles around your and and gives you a nice hug and so you give it a pat on the head. After you do that you can no longer get your Cuddlefish to follow you. :)

    ... So cuddlefish are actually sapient? ... if the precursors hadn't been discovered sorta' by the degasi or elsewhere in the universe, this would mean that the player, Ryley, (not the sunken city,) has personally discovered three instances of sapient life in the universe besides humanity's own.

    Anyone else disturbed at how fluidly he flies a PAV (Planetary Ascent Vehicle)? Seems like captain-grade piloting... or maybe just Cyclops-level piloting, lol.

    I mean yes, I know about that... but I still want to carry my Cuddlefish around like a baby/pet dog.

    @ranmafan Well if you carry it in your inventory it does not do much really.... It sort of just.... sits there.... so really the only thing that would do is take up space in your inventory.
