1: The little gecko guy from Twisty Bridges could make a really cute pet who could glide around on its skin folds like a flying squirrel. He could also have bit gecko eyes which look to his sides and which he would lick frequently to remove sodium buildup. He'd have a cool animation for swallowing whole fish while hunting alongside the player. And when the player is endangered, he'd just sorta' flop around somewhere unaware of the danger due to his insanely poisonous flesh. And maybe it could even have a scanner-room type interface where it could help you search for things or play fetch!

2: Twisty bridges itself could be some sort of sunken Ry'leh-type thing. Perhaps it's the shell of some Fastitocalon reefback creature of such immense size that it has surpassed the point of its life at which it can still swim and now only lives to watch its denizens as they live under its reign.

3: The lava larva would make a GREAT pet!!! It could swim around in circles, not swim around in circles, have the happy little eyes which look like little n's on the sides of its head, it could wave its tendrils around and make little distressed sounds when it senses danger, and it could be trained to pop onto the player's back with its suction cup so that it could go for a ride! For pet options, there'd be one for 'stay' 'do you own thing' and 'piggy-back' where under 'stay' it'd go pop onto your base or seamoth or something to feed. under 'do your own thing' it'd lazily swim circles around the player and go looking about and investigating things, sort of following the player in a slow meandering sort of way. for the 'piggy-back,' it'd pop onto your back or onto your seamoth or other vehicle and stay there until you stop moving or give another command or get out of your vehicle. Much better than Crashfish or Cuddlefish pets.
