Wandering window when not in fullscreen.

I almost never play outside of fullscreen mode, in fact I never have played Subnautica this way before, but I'm multitasking and need to be able to see the videos I am listening to in the background from time to time.
So far I have been able to reposition the Subnautica window easily enough, but today something weird has started. Every time I grab the top border of the window, the entire window jumps away to the bottom left corner of the screen. At this point it has gone so far that I can only see about 3cm of the top right corner of the window in width, and maybe 2mm in height. Beyond being really annoying, this is obviously making the game impossible. I have tried killing the game process from task manager, and this works for a time, but it eventually begins again.
