I was feeling particularly silly and so I wanted to come up with names for certain landmarks or other things in-game which are not really given official names.
For example,
'Sparsis Vallis' could be the blood-kelp entrance in the sparse reef.
'Magna Scopulum' could be the whole grand reef area
'Minus Scopulum' could be the safe shallows
'Vadum Mesa' could be the shallow grassy plateau areas littered around the map
'Magna Mesa' could then be the larger, southern-most grassy plateau biome
For example,
