Cyclops Related issues - sinking, Prawn retrieval

The more important of my two issues is that when the prawn is being retrieved by the cyclops I will get stuck inside the prawn, unable to leave the prawn or launch it again. Sometimes this bug results in me being able to leave the prawn, but unable to interact with anything inside the cyclops (including piloting it or leaving it). These both result in me either having to console command die or reload a save both of which are intensely irritating and can make me lose hours of gameplay.
This bug happens often enough that I keep falling foul of it, but is not a constant issue so I don't go into paranoia and save my game all the time.
The less important of the two issues I'm experiencing is where my character (when stationary) sinks into the floor of the cyclops. This doesn't affect gameplay but its very irritating and breaks immersion
