Hovercraft?

On the Subnautica Backend page, under changes and check ins, changeset 59913 says "Added Hovercraft prototype for all to try!".

Is this just for the devs to test? or are we going to get to play around with it to?

I don't think it's in the game, BUT you can try loading up Experimental mode (check the Wiki for details), I *think* it's available for testing. Caveat emptor - it's 'experimental' for a reason; expect problems.

Isn't Trello for Experimental mode and Subnautica Backend for the devs personal use?

Does experimental work in 1.0? I had to take off experimental in order to download 1.0 on launch.

The endgame does work in experimental now, and it has a couple bugfixes too - last 2 achievements should work for everyone, and building onto a large base no longer has super-lag.

If they add a hovercraft it better be able to take the small fish tank and put amp-eels in it!

I heard the reason for the hovercraft might be due to the amount of 'land' in the Arctic Biome. So it might be about as big as a Seamoth while if there is an Icebreaker Sub, it would be about the size of the Cyclops.

Why add Hover craft? theres like only 2 islands and both of them are small.....

Because the next biome is in the Arctic which means lots of ice. So the 'land' area in the Arctic DLC will be much larger than 2 small islands.
