Couple Ideas that popped into mind - inc. cyclops dock concept, artificial land, and more

Got Multiple Ideas so hold onto your hats because here comes a tornado.

#1 - An obvious idea and surely not the first time mentioned, but the Cyclops and a docking bay/procedure.

- There would be a new structure (maybe as long or longer than the moonpool) that has 4 guidance clamps that attach to the Cyclops when it parks over the top.

- A docking tube/compartment will then come out from the structure and connect to the Cyclops. https://imgur.com/a/mHTD6 <--- (took like 5-10 mins so dont be mean)


* Could possibly dock from either direction that you approach it (as long as coming in longways in comparison to the long structure) thus to minimise the
space that the cyclops might need if it did the whole turning animation like the moonpool when you go the wrong way.

#2 - The ability to create a pad like the Neptune one but purely to create a base on top of so you can have an above water base away from the islands, aka. artificial land.

- Maybe there could be additions with this such as certain Structures and doors that are above water exclusive such as

- A balcony that can have multiple mods put on it such as gardens, binoculars (so you can see all the islands and aroura from home), maybe a landing
pad of some sort if there was air vehicles added to the current vehicle ensemble, and other stuffs.

- Bases that do not require airlocks and maybe use bulkheads as the main door systems.

- other stuff will probably come to mind.


- Still implement structural integrity for the base but also buoyancy so you have to add extra floats until you maxamize building capacity.


#3 - Alien Containment tubes (like glass compartments) that allow for fish to swim through (and you) and can be used to conect multiple

#4 - Small Addons


- Fire extinguisher refiller
- The ability to target certain objects/recources while using the camera drone that can be then seen by the players HUD if they have the scanner room addon.
- Maybe add the terra forming tool back in the form of an attachment on the Prawn suit that uses both arms to operate (maybe one arm takes and the other places) and can only hold one lot of material at a time.

    Was looking at other posts and they do explain about how the vehicle bay should still be accessible when docked which is a fair point and probably needs to be featured. This though will require some thinking as you still gotta take in mind the base and its functionality. Ill do some other ideas

    I posted this on another thread and thought I would write it again here 6 is along the line of artificial
    1. A living space in the cyclops cramped space made for 3 people to sleep in shifts of 2 sleep, 1 awake(2 hideaway cots, simple terminal for notes, more complex meal fabricator(meals add buffs?), refrigerator)
    2. A small motor on lifepod 5 for extremely slow movement, topside control stick and a deployable anchor.
    3. Mergeable rooms
    4. Catwalk platform on top of cyclops and top hatch.
    5. Large Ship with cyclops dock underneath.
    6. Floating dock, like Neptune platform, with buildable space.(can connect together for large floating island?)
