Best Locations For Thermal Plants

I used to think that the volcanic vent pit in the southeast portion of the Safe Shallows was the best location to place thermal plants. Recently, I've found an even better location... The Jellyshroom Cave. If you follow the line of volcanic vents to the northeast, near the end you'll find a ledge that can support a lot thermal plants (I've placed 8 and there's plenty of room for more). The coordinates are : -314.1, -294.4, -161.9. The lowest temperature reading of my 8 plants is 92° with the highest being 96°. Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know, that's hotter than the temperatures you find in the Lava Zones. I'm no geologist, but this doesn't make any sense to me. I would think that the Lava Zones would have much higher temperatures than the vents in the Jellyshroom Cave. If this is a bug, I guess I'll exploit it until it gets fixed.
Anyway, have you found locations that support 8, or more, thermal power plants with temperatures above 90°?
