Build 59783
Two issues deploying beacons on dry land. Before you say that they weren't intended for this, consider the bug is therefore that the interface currently lets you deploy a beacon on dry land. There should be a message or the player should be blocked from doing so like many other interactions such as disassembling part of a habitat with you standing in it. This was all done on the floating island which may have an impact.

I wanted to mark the location of the teleport cave since this is how I initially found the floating island. Being a new player who tried to avoid spoilers I wasn't sure where the teleporter took me so I wanted to mark the cave entrance so I could find my way back.
- Beacons will fall to the surface of the island as you'd expect. If the player tried to retrieve it from certain orientations, it will launch you hundreds of meters up and away from the beacon. I think I landed upwards of 1KM away one of the first times, and miraculously took no damage when hitting the water.
- If you manage to avoid #1, as time passes the beacon will slip into the terrain of the floating island and become irretrievable. I had to warp into the terrain to rescue it and get it off my beacon manager list.
