[bug?] My pod moved to the deadzone?

So I started up my game and opened my safe file and rather than being in my base where I last logged out I was in my pod. Upon exiting said pod I find myself to be in the ghost leviathan deadzone area with no aurora in sight. What the huh?!

Please post your game version that appears in the top right.

I experienced an issue where my Life Pod drifted. Others have reported this issue. But it occurs so randomly that the developers don’t have enough info to be able to fix.

I've encountered something similar but not at that scale, with the pod drifting far away from it's original start point. That was quite a few versions ago though.

In another thread, the DEVs said they think they have figured out what causes this and may even have a fix soon. It sounds like it only happens with one of the random spawn locations for Life Pod 5.

This occurred to me as well with my very first game. I did not realize this was a bug at the time and didn't save any of my logs. It was kind of weird to watch my pod drifting faster than I could swim though.
