[BUG] Hatched Crabquids Apparently Aren't Friendly (stable 53518)

This has been ongoing for quite a while. I'm starting to wonder if it's deliberate, but I can't help but think 'no'!
Hatch a crabsquid egg in your tank.
Pick the crabsquid up.
Put it back in the tank.
Witness the mass of damage that is done to your base that has to be fixed.

To add to this, if you pick up a crabsquid out of your base and then release it outside the base, you take damage as soon as you let it go (a good 25% or so!). It doesn't actively attack you afterward (it's as docile as the other released creatures) but apparently something in the code is making it 'lash out' as soon as it's put down.

I'm assuming that wave of damage is related to why, when you pull one out of the tank and put it back in, it does damage to the base around you.

This sounds fun. What's the cheat code for the crab squid egg? :)

Maybe just try cheat for crabsquid:

    "Item crabsquid"

Honestly I don't know; I've been playing the stable game and finding the occasional crabsquid egg in the Grand Reef. It was happening back when the egg was still listed as a '?' (and the squid as well).

The egg item is 'crabsquidegg', I know that much. Not tried spawning a live one that wasn't hatched. I've never had to; even picking up the one that hatches and trying to put it back rips huge holes in the walls of your room. :D I had to repair a good four tears the last time I did it to test it out (with the new patch).

I've had this happen. I had to move all my guys out of a tank, for a new one. I put them in and the multipurpose room broke. Hatching is fine.

Edited for new (I'm sure related) findings.

Was experimenting with feeding different fish to Smiley and discovered this the hard way. Ow!
