You can see a chart of you're skill!
How awesome is that!
like i allways tought they should add something like this to the game
(you know as a level up, XP kinda system. To increase returning players)
But yeah it actually already exists, and was wondering if this is something everybody except me knew about.

UWE is still planning on making their own website. They have other player progression plans too.

When you aim for perfect balance, you discover it's a moving target.
Perfect balance is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellent gameplay.
NS2 is a moving, breathing thing. We have to be willing to constantly evolve. Perfect balance is constant transformation.

I'm amazed at how evenly distributed my play time is: https://observatory.morrolan.ch/player/85709

Though 9 days is a lot shorter than the 101 days that Steam attributes to me.

[EDIT] I'd be surprised if the missing 92 days came from me wandering around my maps as I developed them.

Steam counts time from the exe opening to the exe closing. Hive counts from round start until round end. Steam has been counting since NS2 was first playable. Hive has been counting since it was made a few years ago.

Your map time certainly had an affect, but you have played NS2 a long long time.

@snacksy13 there used to be an official Hive website by UWE, but they closed it when moving to hive 2. They made an API (http://hive2.ns2cdt.com/api/get/playerData/33428562) available for everyone to query, so @morrolan made the Observatory thing you found. It's fan-made so it's not advertised anywhere (there's a Discord bot on the official Discord channel, but that's it).

You can also use ns2stats, which has different features: http://ns2stats.ru/#/table/sort-by/skill/desc/page/1
