    Just make them smaller. Like, half as big. 1600x1200 is excessive and annoying, considering few people actually run in resolutions as big or bigger than that. 800x600 is perfect for screenshots.

    Yea, I know the lightning in there looks too bright, have to fix it.

    Not bad, considering how difficult it is to actually get an idea of what it looks like. It seems a bit big and empty, but that may just be because of the giant screenshots. In the last two shots, the blue light in front of the monitors seems a bit too dark; consider lightening it to a paler tone to make it a bit more subtle.

    Okay, re-did the readyroom somewhat, lightning and some crates to make it look more interesteng and not so big and empty.

    Turned out much better IMO.

    Please restrain your use of hazard stripes, it really detracts from the effect if you overuse them like that.

    Dont make pictures and maps smaller, less r_speeds, less polygons! People are paying good money for this high quality stuff!

    People need to get with it (get better computers).

    Think he meant on the walls.. around the join-points looks fine, but stuff like hazard-stripes should be reserved for something you want attention drawn to, instead of as a header and footer. On the join-points it would give a visual cue of where to go, on the walls it stands the risk of being confusing. Perhaps replace the one on the walls (or the join-points even.. visual seperation is good design) with the vertical-ovals lookin' vent cover texture.

    Hehe, I haven't quite reached that point yet. I'm still working on the marine start on my map (<i>about 5 hrs on it so far</i>), but I've sketched out about 5-10 seconds worth of running space outside the start. Other than that, it's all in my head. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I like to have a rough sketch of the map , that way I can figure out balancing problems and such, BEFORE I waste like 3hrs on a corridor. :/

    also if it could serve to be a brushwork test and a driving style for all the map, the RR should be done in the final phases cos NS request very much to make a good map,while the RR is not very important.
    I like btw the general shape, i agree with the stripes...use just on the main shapes, doors... btw i find a bit empty; truly too much simply the chose between aliens/marines...if u stay with this, make same infestation in the alien part
