Some VR suggestions

I wanted to share some of the issues and possible suggestions I have with the game at present.
Mainly it is to do with using the menus and inventory. When the data pad is held up, it's far to close to my face, making it hard to focus on it. Looking at other games with foreground objects, such as guns, they usually extend away from the players point of view. While the butt of a rifle may be hard to focus on, it gets easier the further the eyes follow along the barrel. Would it be possible to apply a similar logic to the data pad, by having the player model hold it at an angle and giving the data pad a scroll wheel with larger icons rather than an inventory grid.
The second point is that text is hard to read in VR, especially very small text. Some reading could be avoided by having more recognisable icons, perhaps by colour coding them. More voice over work would work well too, so that clicking an item has the computer read the details out loud.
