<div class="IPBDescription">Official Release.</div> TSA OFFICIAL REPORT TO COMMANDERS:

Due to extensive troop loss in our battle against the Kharaa on the Space Station Nothing, we are releasing information pertaining to the placement of Phase Gates.

Marines are trained to jump out of phase gates as soon as the have transported due to the fact that overuse causes many errors including merged bodies. Because of this, we have discovered that there are multiple locations on this space station where improper placement will quickly lead troops to their own demise because of precautionary training.

These locations include:

1) S77 Vestible
Do NOT build gates anywhere near the gaping hole in front of you. Suggested locations include the 2 alcoves beyond it.

2) Docking Wing 01
Avoid placement near the bridge with the resource tower.

3) Generator Room
Again avoid positioning any phase gate near the hole.

4) Power Silo Hive location
We have seen countless Kharaa hives now, and this one is probably in the most deadly environment. It appears that a pool of poisonous liquids has developed all around this room. Phase gate jumpers will find it extremely easy to go over the rails without realizing it. Avoid placement near rails.

5) Foreboding Antechamber
Due to the nature of this room, suggested phase gate placement is away from any rails, preferable on the edges of this bridge.

Once again, please take every precaution in your use of phase gates, as the rigors of traveling through potential streams are bad enough.

Also watch where you build infantry portals, in small areas people will teleport in and get stuck into the roof.

very amusing though as that person then is killed by the next person teleporting in and so on.

The game is called Natural Selection for a reason. Now while spawning/teleporting into walls is a problem, falling down a pit after teleporting is not.

You always come out of a Phase Gate facing the same direction that you were before you entered it. Therefore, with a little forethought, one could easily know exactly what direction they'd pop out. They'd know not to hold forward and jump, but rather backward and jump. If you can't manage that, you deserve to die. Over the railing you go!

    Team Darwin wins!
