First off, the overall design of the game is unique and fun, and it's very enjoyable across multiple aspects. However, my point of this thread goes out to the Shout-Out page for Subnautica on TVTropes.org. It's a delightful treat to see what all amusing media references the developers have stuck in the game, especially if you're not expecting it. Personally, I had a laugh the first time I got a distress call from a certain "Commander Keen"; I don't think anyone has heard from him in years. :lol:

    Agreed wholeheartedly! And they didn't overdo it, like Fallout 2 did once upon a time. Just a few clever little nods here and there, enough for those who get the joke to appreciate it but not enough to blow the suspension of disbelief. :)
