    I have seen in the stores an MS branded ext hd for $99.
    I have lag also but it usually stops after a few mins.
    Hmm, I haven't started a new save yet. I'll try it out.

    Do you know what size the it is? And if it's an SSD? Because regular external hard drives are definitely cheaper. But not SSDs, which are the only ones that actually help.

    Also, you can disregard the post. I'm not sure what changed but I just fired up the game again after quite awhile and although the lag is still noticeable and kind of frequent, I can at least actually play now!

    The drive was locked in a glass case, on the bottom, in a big box store.
    I'll look online but I doubt that it was SSD.
