So after Subnautica adds the Cyclops Health update in a few days, I'm planning on making a series on Youtube. I'm not a big Youtuber by ANY standards, only 34 subscribers. But I'd like to do some sort of series of this game for fun; plus it may boost my subscriber count by a bit ;)

I won't advertise my channel here unless you want me to.

Make sure you edit out any of the grinding parts, VERY EASY way to kill a lets play. Make sure you cut out any parts your just not talking for anything like that.

Thanks for the info, cuts and fast-forwards are probably the most useful thing in an editing program in my opinion o:)

It depends on if you are doing a Let's Play or showcasing what is cool about the game. If it is a Let's Play, then all the grind should be present even if it is sped up. If it is a showcase, then cheat to spawn in resources and not inform your audience. Some people don't care, but others are very vocal about it. Spending hours to grind for resources is just a waste of time. Especially when it can take hours to find a blueprint fragment.

If I remember correctly, Markiplier had a mental breakdown finding a Modification Station fragment while Jacksepticeye easily found it the next week. The only mental breakdown in a Youtube video related to gaming should be one of those extremely scary games not spending hours trying to find a specific item.
