Precursor sub/vehicles

So their enforcement base has a huge (but empty) moon pool under it, right?

Logically it's feasible to assume it's there to accommodate their underwater nav vehic's..so where are they? Would be awesome to find abandoned precursor vehicles, either as static decoration or pieces that can be scanned to make their versions of what we have now (seamoth, cyclops , prawn). For variety's sake, they would look noticeably diff from what we have now, maybe even have superior performance (being able to go deeper, move faster, ion-crystal based power supplies, ect)

Dev's would prob need to include a source of precursor metal - this could also lead to a new area to explore. Scans say the metal was made off-word, but i cant see them just plopping down building sections from space..maybe include a new island (or even true undersea cave with breathable atmosphere) as a sort of on-world foundry or construction site..where they turned the basic metal into the pieces they needed to build their base's. Maybe even turn the metal into building material for OUR bases..stronger stuff that wouldnt need extra reinforcement at deeper pressures (or at the very least, far stronger then titanium and thus needing far less reinforcement)

Thoughts?

Could be a nice addition in form of a DLC maybe? Would be happy to get Precursor Subs and Tech. And yes the moonpool they have should have a clear purpose and precursor subs seem one of the most logical answers especially because its huge size.

The procurers had teleportation gates so they might not have had subs. The Monopol could be for other proposes I dunno :/
