Exploring in creative mode. Weird scenes inside the lava mine!

So, I have corrupted files and decided to have a look about in creative mode. Stumbled across the lava castle and thought I'd have a look inside as the door hadn't rendered. Got stuck inside but no castle just sea bed, walls and cave ceiling.
Question. ... did I break the game or is it a glitch that might be stopping the load up on my corrupted files?
Sorry for not knowing, I'm not that knowledgeable about this stuff.

Opinion;
If I am moving too fast on a vector and I see a partial render I change course or try to stop.
I prefer that to the game just crashing. We've all run into things with the moth by going too fast.

i.e.
I was using the Seaglide to enter the Thermal Plant a few days ago, I had to visit it 3 times.
On the last visit the airlock

(facility is not flooded

I had been using refused to render,
fortunately there was another airlock around the corner.
I haven't gone back yet with my PRAWN to see if the first airlock I used renders.
