3 Ideas to get more "aquaspheric" gameplay

Hello!

First of all - big thanks. Your game is amazing! It's most beautiful and atmospheric game I ever seen. Please keep going.

There are some ideas about the gameplay. It would be great if I can see some or all of them implemented.

1) I like the databank very much. It's like the old good X-COM. The encyclopedia is greatest thing. It makes the game non casual, athmosperic and scientific. Updatable records are key to data expansion without overflowing the encyclopedia by new topics. For example it would be really great if it can show biomes where things are located. Biomes are beautiful! You have to add them to the databank. When player gets some new info about the biome its record may be updated. It's about resources, creatures and flora. And... you never know is there something else you can find in Subnautica?

2) Underwater currents. It can be used to exploration. It can make the gameplay harder - you have to think where you place things, have you anchored it, etc. You can act like a detective - just see how a floating thing goes to find the cave. You can use currents as transporter - just put stuff into the bag and catch it on other side. Some creatures and flora may prefer underwater currents. Some currents may have daily phases.

3) Things may get improved usability when they can be attached to each other and anchored. For example when I tried to use Gravsphere to catch scattered pieces of ore it moved away because creatures are move around and pull it. If I could anchor the Gravsphere to the bottom of sea using for example Dive reel then the problem would be solved. Similar will work for building bases. It would be great if I can build a small pot, put into it a glowing plant, attach airbladder and anchor it on required height from the bottom. Many things may be utilitary connected in such manner. It would be great for base building and exploring. We can get amazing constructions with it. Let's think how it can be combined with underwater currents. Mmm...

Non-critical but useful

4) Using snap-to-grid feature when building interior will help build well-looking interiors.
5) Floodlight, lightstick and spotlight are good things but useless due to power consumption.
6) A small exterior growbed will help build lights around the base using the glowing plants. If it will be allowed to be placed with less restrictions than existing growbed It will looks great.

So, your game is addictive. I want just one thing - forget my experience with Subnautica to start again!
